Terms of Service
Effective July 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Sigil Android application (“Sigil”, “the app”). By installing or using Sigil you agree to them.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Sigil on Android devices you own or control, for personal use, in accordance with Google Play’s terms.
2. Purchases
Optional features (such as Sigil Pro and premium packs) are one-time purchases processed by Google Play Billing. Prices are shown before purchase. Refunds are handled according to Google Play’s refund policy.
3. Your content
Gestures, names, rules, and flows you create in Sigil are yours and remain on your device. We claim no rights over them and receive no copy of them.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use Sigil to violate any law or the rights of others.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where permitted by law.
- Commands you configure execute actions on your own device; you are responsible for the commands you create and run, including while driving — use hands-free features responsibly and follow local laws.
5. Disclaimer
Sigil is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that gesture recognition will be error-free or that the app will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app features giving rise to the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using Sigil at any time by uninstalling it. The license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always be published at this address with its effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
